This allows you to switch off from everyday life and forget about your stressors which maybe present at home. People that travel feel more content with their lives and are able to feel a sense of purpose each day knowing that they have something to look forward to in the future - the next trip that is!
Healthy way of living
Your diet and physical activity levels are key factors in our overall health. When travelling to a different country and sampling new cultures you maybe encouraged to embrace a new way of living, also we all enjoy a good walk whilst we are on a vacation right?
Here comes the exercise part. All of this will have a positive impact on your health.
Exercising the brain
Travelling helps stimulate the mind, it provides you with a sense of focus and challenges your memory - we all think back to positive times we've had whilst travelling right? This is exercise for the brain! You will also develop the way you think, you may have to communicate with somebody who doesn't speak the same language - this is very likely, you may also be stretched into seeking directions or even reading a map. All of this will improve your mental focus.
