Aitutaki is home to the worlds most beautiful turquoise sunlit lagoon, a island that plays home to approximately 1800 people, its truly a must for your travel bucket list (if it isn't already on there of course).

Just a 45 minute flight from Rarotonga (the hub of the Cook Islands) this little paradise will steal your heart. If you are expecting McDonald's, tall buildings, hustle and bustle then you will be disappointed.  The small island is largely unspoilt allowing you to enjoy the laid back lifestyle of the warm, colourful locals.  Can you imagine having the most perfect beaches all to yourself? in Aitutaki this is possible.

Snorkelling in Aitutaki's coral reef system is spectacular whether you are an experienced snorkeller or a beginner, the outer canyons of the reef plays home to hundreds of species of fish, making your snorkelling experience an unforgettable one.

What can I do in Aitutaki?

Visit Ootu Beach - Located on the southern tip peninsula this quiet, a popular picnic sport and also great for swimming and snorkelling.

Hike Maunga Pu - a short hike which originate on the coastal road an leads up to a magnificent viewpoint.

Aitutaki Lagoon Cruise - The number one thing to do on the island, allowing you to explore the magnificent Aitutaki lagoon and neighbouring islands. We recommend the Vaka Cruise.
